Australia 2012 Top Baby Names by State

I cam across something today that I thought was a great idea - a map of the American 2012 most popular names by state. So for a bit of fun I thought I'd create my own version for Australia. It may not be quite as polished as the original, but I think they came out OK!

    Wow, thanks so much for doing this! That's fantastic.

    There seems to be a bit more variety in the girls than the boys (the opposite to the US, although of course we have very few states in comparison).

    It probably wasn't possible to add the ACT, but they are Charlotte and Jack.

      Yeah, it was really hard to get ACT in, but interestingly they are the same as the national top names!

    I actually enjoyed reading through in this posting. I am looking more variety baby names in the girl than boy, we have few states in comparison of USA.

    My favorite name is William, which a first and common name.
